Tess was a beloved daughter, sister and friend. She led a life as beautiful as she was. Tess enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, dancing, traveling, listening to music and taking selfies.  She loved to explore new parts of the world, although some of her favorite places to visit were Starbucks and Victoria's Secret. She was truly a walking testament of someone who valued others before herself, as she loved to make new friends and cherished relationships with many. 

The Tess Smith Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 2018 as our way to #PayItForward. Each year students at Wichita Northwest Highschool who apply for the scholarship are asked to write an essay on how they have #PaidItForward through acts of kindness. Our family then reviews the essays and then selects a scholarschip recipient for that year. 

For many years after the scholarship was established, Holly and Lawrence, Tess' parents, sponsored the Scholarship Fund out of the goodness of thier hearts. However. in 2021, Tee Fore Tess was born. This is an annual golf tournament held in Wichita, Ks at Crestview Country Club. Each year we have seen tremendous growth thanks to the golfers, sponsors, volunteers and all who help make this event happen.  All proceeds from the event allow the Tess Smith Memorial Scholarship Fund to continue to #PayItForward.
